As the founder of Model Society, I have spent more than a decade working with the world's most talented nude art models and photographers. Every day, I encounter new and breathtaking images of the human form that touch my heart and take my breath away. Yet, despite its beauty and positive orientation, you won’t see these images in your daily feeds. In today's digital age, nude and figurative fine art is broadly mislabeled and marginalized as obscene.

While social media is inundated with negative and nihilistic messages about humanity, artwork that celebrates the sublime beauty of the human body is banned. Even as they show us an onslaught of distorted and manipulative images that damage how we see ourselves and one another, most mainstream platforms cannot distinguish between art and porn.

It wasn't always like this. Throughout history, the human form has been celebrated by the arts, as a way to celebrate human virtues. This enduring tradition of figurative fine art invites us to appreciate what’s noble and good in us all.

That’s why we created Model Society Magazine. Our mission is to restore humanity to its rightful place as a work of art. In this strange and conflict-ridden world, Model Society Magazine dares to put human beauty on a pedestal.

After more than 30 issues, Model Society is widely recognized as a cornerstone of the global nude art movement. The Model Society community is a sanctuary where thousands of nude art models and photographers are free to openly collaborate and express themselves. As a result, Model Society has become a treasured source of inspiration and joy for creatives and art lovers from all walks of life.

Some people tell us stories of greater self-acceptance. Others describe enjoying human beauty without shame (often for the first time). Many models and photographers even share experiences of integrating old trauma.
