Dear Fellow Art-Lover,
People often ask how we select images for the newsletter, a magazine, or a book. With thousands of images to choose from, how do we decide which ones to highlight?
There are countless great works of art that I’m inspired to share. Every day, exceptional nude art models and photographers upload new images, so it’s not easy to make a final selection.
Certainly, craftsmanship matters. Quality composition, cropping, lighting, focus, and editing techniques all contribute to making a great first impression.
But for me, the selection process is inspired by more than technical skill.
There’s a feeling that I’ve learned to trust. I keep looking until I feel a pull, or a pause, or a moment when I forget I’m choosing. Sometimes I’m struck by curiosity, connection, discomfort, or wonder. Some images reach out and don’t let go. Others linger quietly, asking to be revisited until their quiet truth becomes undeniable. It’s like walking through a vast archive of moments. The most meaningful ones call out to be seen again and again.
To curate is not just to asses or judge, but to listen and feel. I look for where the aliveness is hiding and give it room to speak.
For me, the best images aren’t the loudest or the most polished. They’re the ones that hum with something real—something I can’t always explain, but I know when I feel it.
Scroll down to enjoy some of the stunning work that’s been flowing into the community lately. From among hundreds of images (that I’d love to share), these are some of the ones that reached out and touched my heart.
Enjoy! ❤️
