Propagating a Positive Vision of Humanity
Considering the background of politics, extreme weather, floods, and wars, these are intense and uncertain times. It often seems like social media is a battlefield.
Then I come back to Model Society.
While I'm sure that our members and supporters have diverse opinions and beliefs about the world, we all share an appreciation for human beauty as a work of art. In this space, instead of pointing fingers at each other, we point towards a higher ideal. We focus our attention on celebrating our shared humanity.
The models, photographers, artists, and supporters of Model Society give me hope. For me, this is deeply comforting. When I compare what I see at Model Society to what's happening on many other social platforms, I'm filled with gratitude and deep respect.
I wish everyone could glimpse the human spirit – as it is portrayed by those who fill our community with such exquisite beauty and light.
I often feel powerless to impact the forces of history. But at least here, at Model Society, I know (deep down) that models, photographers, and artists are making a positive contribution.
As a creator or supporter, you empower a positive vision of humanity that transcends fear and division. You bring beauty into a world that desperately needs it.
